Steve has been involved with (on some level) the licensed beverage industry for over 25 years. While bartending in western New York, he also studied marketing and advertising as an undergraduate at Rochester Institute of Technology. After R.I.T., Steve worked on the wholesale tier serving restaurants on eastern Long Island. Since 1993 he has been employed by, and is currently the publisher of, the Maryland and Washington, DC Beverage Journals (the ‘Bible’ of the industry in said markets). spatten@bjmsa.com
